With the
Adirondack mountains, lakes and St. Lawrence River to
study, northern New York artist Jeff Davis has a vast
array of images from which to create his finished
watercolor paintings. The beauty and color of the
meadows, wilderness and changing skies enhance his
magnificent north country scenes of wooden barns, sugar
houses and stone dwellings.
His antique boat paintings from the St. Lawrence
River and some of the many Adirondack lakes are much
admired and in demand. Four of his antique boat
paintings from a series of ten were featured in the
Spring 2000 issue of Rudder Magazine, a national
magazine published by the Antique Classic Boat
Society. Jeff has had numerous inquiries for both
original pieces and prints. He has completed
commissioned work for people around the United States.
Jeff is also known for his northern New York landscape
scenes and recently has been using his brush to bring to life his
passion for the American motorcar. For the ease of our visitors, this web
site is divided up into sections dedicated to Jeff's antique boat art,
his landscape paintings,
and his classic automobile art. Clicking on the images of the paintings
on this page or on the links in the blue navigation panel
on the left will take you to those pages.
Jeff has recently completed a new
antique boat painting, two new landscapes and five new pieces of
antique automobile art. These have been added to the respective
areas of the web site.
